A portrait should capture more than what is seen in its story - either the real story of the subject, ot one you have created together. Portraits as a series of three or five images rather than standalone shots also captures more depth and hangs better on a wall.
I am particularly interested in doing more environmental portraiture - located in a place of work or something similar so that the location tells the story as well.
